About once a month, on a Sunday evening, we arrange to ring a Quarter Peal.  This takes about fifty minutes before the 6:30pm Evening Service at St Helen's.

We ring for Weddings at both churches.  Sometimes visiting ringers come or occasionally there is an attempt to ring a full peal.  All these are usually on a Saturday.

We also arrange silent practices at St Helen's for learners using a simulator.

Extra ringing is arranged for special occasions like an event of  national importance (such as a royal birth, marriage or death), local importance (bun throwing, royal visit, civic funeral) and at the request of the church congregation.  The bells are half-muffled for Remembrance Sunday.
